Data Analyst, Operations - Prodigo Solutions


As a member of the Data + Analytics team, the Data Analyst, Operations [DAO] is responsible for root cause analysis and will troubleshoot data-related exceptions, customer-related inquiries, and support tickets. The DAO meets with stakeholders to understand business/end-user requirements and acceptance criteria; using this information to evaluate data designs, data validations, data exception handling workflows, and recommend resolutions for exceptions and support tickets. The DAO will replicate identified data issues to understand data integrity gaps and fix inaccuracies within our data sets and applications. Additionally, The DAO writes data queries and understands the technical integrations with data sources in order to identify root causes of issues in the data; working closely with the data technical team to resolve issues in the Global repository, ETL workflows, and/or Prodigo's applications.

  • Collaborates with all stakeholders to gather required data required to troubleshoot data issues and resolve customer data support tickets.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves production data-related issues.
  • Participates in on-call project support rotation as required.
  • Ensures accuracy & integrity of data through analysis, writing clear documentation & problem resolution.
  • Understand technical and system specifications for all ETL processes.
  • Plans, coordinates, tests and supports ETL integrity checks, including an understanding of the table structure and supporting ETL workflows.
  • Coordinates with the team for all new projects and maintains effective awareness of all production activities.
  • Assist in the development of project quality analysis [QA] test plans. Document system test plans, test cases, test scripts and test summary reports ensuring the delivered product meets the requirements of the documented Acceptance Criteria.
  • Review Data Statistics and Exception Reports.
  • Designs, develops and generates ad hoc reports and analyses by querying customer databases using analytical tools; publishing validated, relevant metrics to evaluate operational effectiveness.
  • Propose new ideas with focus on quality and continuous improvement of data quality.
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, including senior management, technical staff and executives.


  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
  • At least 2-3 years' technical work experience in data analysis, preferably for large, complex data sets.
  • Strong experience with SQL.
  • MS Office proficiency [MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio]
  • MS SQL/Business Intelligence knowledge required.
  • Experience writing or investigating moderately complex SSIS packages and ETL procedures is preferred.
  • Solid experience in writing select, insert and update queries as necessary to support clients.
  • Superior analytical, research and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to structure and conduct analyses to generate insight and recommendations from data.
  • Strong problem-solving skills for data management with a willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
  • Excellent skills in data administration with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools [Power BI] is preferred to interpret data into business goals and effectively present meaningful KPIs to all stakeholders.
  • Experience with project management/ownership to execute assigned tasks with clearly defined deliverables and timelines.
  • Experience working with financial, clinical, and/or supply chain datasets is an asset.
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Strong communication skills: both verbal and written; must be comfortable communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must work well independently and within a team. Healthcare experience preferred.
