The Content Acquisition Associate is responsible for advancing Prodigo's content strategy by analyzing, managing, and, when necessary, sourcing enriched product attribution. This role will primarily focus on designing a sustainable process that ensures our content is accurate, current, and includes attributes reflective of our client's requirements. This individual is responsible for building a network with industry sources of truth to help shape and deliver Prodigo's data services and data management solutions within healthcare. The position requires well-developed prospecting, presentation and data-driven analytical skills with the ability to function in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.

  • Develop and document procedures for use in training and sales support opportunities.
  • Track performance on defined metrics and communicate results to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be the expert, the resident champion with wide knowledge of healthcare data assets (i.e. Device Identifiers, classification, item metadata).
  • Create a process for validating and maintaining the Manufacturer Equivalency Table.
  • Create a process that assesses the impact of attribute updates (ex. updates to UNSPSC) and build a communication plan with clients, as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key content providers (manufacturers, distributors, and 3rd party providers/partners) to develop a persistent pipeline of content in support of our Clinical Global Repository initiatives.
  • Build a partnership with our Clients that (1) provides a path to present new attributes we should consider sourcing to support their initiatives and (2) allows us to engage them for support when reaching out to various Suppliers.
  • Define a content acquisition plan that sets parameters over the type of content that should (or should not) be collected and managed; continually reviewing and evaluating newly added items to Prodigo's unmatched items table.
  • Perform Content Strategy Analysis to ensure our clients have access to the broadest selection of quality content based on item and manufacturer popularity.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related Computer Science major is required.
  • 3 -5 years of business development or supply chain experience is preferred with demonstrated experience in managing healthcare data assets, relationship building, account management and/or sales pipeline development.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of tracking multiple communication strings, and follows up in a timely fashion in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required; experience working with databases is preferred.
  • Self-motivated with an aptitude for attention to detail, deadlines, and metrics.
  • Strong communication skills are critical with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions to follow issues through to resolution.
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment with minimal direct supervision.
