Our mission at UPMC Enterprises is to turn innovative ideas into growing, thriving businesses. We partner with UPMC clinicians, scientists, and healthcare entrepreneurs, and companies in all stages of commercial development.
UPMC Enterprises uses technology to help clinicians provide patient-centered, high-quality, compassionate care at the lowest cost. One key initiative at UPMC Enterprises is a technology strategy called hcOS (Healthcare Operating System), a secure cloud-based platform for storing, processing, and exchanging healthcare data. By adopting hcOS, UPMC and other healthcare industry participants are making it easier for clinicians, payers, consumers, researchers, and administrators to securely access and share healthcare data.
At UPMC Enterprises, the Vice President of Product will be responsible for commercializing and operationalizing opportunities arising out of the hcOS strategy---both internally-developed products, technologies and/or services as well as externally-sourced projects and businesses.
