Job Purpose


The Manager, Operations reports to the CEO and is responsible for aspects of the day-to-day operations, administration and coordination of activities occurring at and within Tele ID Newco, interacting with customers, vendors and partners and creating processes and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations, from an operational perspective. The Manager, Operations is a proactive individual who is well organized with great attention to detail, collaborative, self-motivated, a quick learner, and maintains an entrepreneurial spirit.  Great opportunity for future growth and leadership opportunities in a start-up, growth environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support executive activities of Tele ID NewCo’s Chief Executive Officer and Chief Medical Officer
  • Primary point of contact with the company’s vendors including UPMC Enterprises shared services personnel and University of Pittsburgh Physicians (“UPP”)

    • UPMC Enterprises shared services include human resources and payroll, recruiting,

      accounting and finance, marketing, legal and IT

  • Contract management of all company customer contracts, including monthly invoicing, collections and reconciliations

  • Assist with accumulation of data from multiple internal and external sources to create monthly operational reports and dashboards

  • Manage events and special projects as assigned by management within related budgets

  • Establish and maintain company policies and procedures

  • Develop and communicate processes as needed

  • Other activities/responsibilities that should fall under this role

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Health Sciences or related field preferred

  • 5-7 years of experience with business operations required

  • Health care industry experience preferred, but those with relevant experience in other industries considered

  • Advanced knowledge of business administration with strong problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to interact effectively with senior management

  • Ability to be affective while working independently and within a team environment

  • Strong project management skills with ability to juggle multiple logistical tasks

  • Strong communications skills including verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Industry recognized workplace professional with experience of successfully coordinating events and implementing strategies that support and enhance business performance

  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
