Our Product Managers bridge cross-functional
disciplines, balancing business, technical and design constraints to bring
products to market that will define the future of health care. Product Managers
must feel comfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environments.
They must leverage deep commercial expertise and critical thinking skills to
distill the complexity inherent to health care's most confounding problems.
They must also thoughtfully translate problems into solutions, that can take
shape as disruptive businesses and ultimately, actionable product roadmaps.
Product Managers move quickly and with confidence, always with an eye on the

reward, recognizing that they will be held accountable for the analysis,
positioning, packaging and promotion of new companies.
We’re looking for a Product
Manager, Analytics that is one part data scientist, and one part product
strategist to assess, reimagine and deploy tracking capabilities across UPMC’s
traditional web portals, mobile apps and clinical systems.
In this role, you’ll get to work with senior leaders and product
stakeholders to define analytics goals and strategy across UPMC services. Then,
partner with engineering and marketing teams as you both plan and implement new
analytics tools, measure results, and automate reporting from the top of the
funnel to business-driven goals and outcomes.
We’re also looking for an individual with experience deploying and
using standard analytics services such as Google 360 Analytics Suite or Adobe
Analytics for attribution, conversion tracking and site optimization. Prior experience
building and deploying scaled analytics platforms within enterprise web and
mobile apps is required. Bonus points for individuals with specific experience
implementing A/B testing and/or SEO on large scale web properties. The ideal
candidate would also have experience using statistical tools such as R, Python,
or SAS to analyze data and the ability to develop business-specific models via
regression and/or machine learning.

Works with interdisciplinary teams and across functional
departments, including engineering, design, marketing and finance teams – to
carry out strategic plan for assigned product(s) or domain(s)
Produces deliverables that tell concise business stories – using
data-driven, evidence-based, and human-centered arguments
Builds buy-in for the product or company from both external and internal
Serves as point-person between stakeholders and organizations, and
liaison between Enterprises and external entities
Engages with Subject Matter Experts for in-depth evaluation
(clinical, scientific, business, design, etc.)
Presents investment and product development recommendations to
Communicates activities, statuses, issues, and
accomplishments to management and partners as needed
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Performs all above in accordance with
- Bachelor’s Degree
degree, MBA, MS or PhD preferred
5+ years professional experience, direct
written and oral communication skills
