The Procurement Analyst is responsible for leading Supply Chain Management projects/initiatives related to business process development and improvement, and business process infrastructure. The Procurement Analyst will assist in the identification, development, and implementation of P2P initiatives that reduce costs and improve service levels. The Procurement Analyst must have strong cross-functional collaboration skills and able to manage multiple projects, tight deadlines, and high pressure situations. The Procurement Analyst must be a problem solver and can apply critical thinking to challenging issues. The Procurement Analyst must be coachable and have a strong desire to learn and grow in their role.
One of the following combinations of education and experience is required: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or related field and three years work experience in P2P or business process design and optimization Masters degree in a related field In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered Professional certifications (CPM, PPM, CPSM, APICS) a benefit Strong procurement, sourcing and payables skills required Must demonstrate a functional understanding of project management tools, methods, and resource allocation and other project management functions Strong communication, prioritization, decision-making, and interpersonal skills Other Skill Requirements: Self-starter and must work well within a team environment Working knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar ERP is preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required Six Sigma experience or certification is preferred
