The Clinical Content Analyst plays a critical role in the content development and maintenance process and is customer facing with significant interaction with physician leadership, committee co-chairs, committee members, and pharmacy teams. Under direction of the Clinical Content Manager, the analyst will facilitate the development, maintenance, QA, and delivery of the medical, surgical, and radiation oncology pathways in collaboration with the physician-lead disease committees. In addition to content development, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining clear and concise documentation of all pathways algorithms, recommendations, and supporting data. Analysts will ensure effective and timely communication of all pathway modifications to key stakeholders, including (but limited to) IT, sales, customers, joint venture partners, etc. In addition to these responsibilities, the Analyst will work to support the Pharmacy team in all associated activities.
1. Develop subject matter expertise in Medical, Radiation, and Surgical Oncology, including disease states, medical terminology, and familiarity with associated care plan recommendations.
2. Assist in pre-meeting preparation, agenda development, and logistical support during the meeting.
3. Assist in communication with physician committee co-chairs before and after meetings to ensure all content questions and building logic are documented accurately.
4. Act as host for Physician Committee webinars setting a friendly, but efficient tone, greet physicians, review Conflict of Interest Disclosures, CME procedures, and present introduction slides and pathway performance data.
5. Manage live documentation of disease committee discussions by accurately and rapidly updating the pathway flowchart to represent proposed changes. Develop proficiency in Visio.
6. Assist subject matter experts and pathway pharmacists in the development of meeting minutes and pathway flowcharts in accordance with departmental policy.
7. Develop proficiency in using PathbuildR software to build clinical content, including treatment algorithm branching logic, supporting material links, and the associated care plan recommendations.
8. Serve as the first point of Quality Assurance for all pathway clinical content in accordance with departmental policies, and make corrections efficiently and in a timely manner meeting department SLA timelines.
9. Effectively communicate content changes with the entire team, including the Content Manager, subject matter experts, pathway pharmacists, and physician validators.
10. Aid department in preparation for Chief Medical Officer Meetings.
11. Develop proficiency in drafting and sending release communications to customer pharmacy IT teams, detailing different levels of changes to the pathway recommendations and algorithms.
12. Provide timely and exceptional customer service for content related requests from physician users in accordance with internal support SLAs.
13. Participate in the Push to Production process, effectively creating accurate SQL Content Deployment Scripts
14. Assist in departmental initiatives and projects as directed by the Clinical Content Manager
